◎ What is PEEK?

As a synonym for high performance engineering plastics, it is a representative semi-crystalline (semi-crystalline) structure made of Poly Ether Ether Ketone chemical molecule.

◎ Advantages of PEEK

-High continuous use temperature (250 ℃), heat distortion temperature (150 ℃)

Excellent chemical and mechanical properties

-It has low water absorption and friction coefficient.

-Flameproofing grade is V-0

-The generation rate of harmful gas and harmful smoke is very low.

◎ PEEK Natural

It is FDA approved and has the best elongation and modulus of elasticity among PEEK products.

Various Bushing, Bearing, Jig As most common PEEK grade, it is suitable for processing into the most diverse parts.

◎ PEEK-GF30

It is a product reinforced with 30% glass fiber in general PEEK products, and its overall expansion rate is reduced and its mechanical properties are improved compared to PEEK Natural products. However, attention should be paid to contamination of surrounding components and equipment by glass fibers in harsh environments.

◎ PEEK-CA30

It is a product made by adding 30% carbon fiber to PEEK Natural product, and adding carbon, the best additive to improve mechanical properties, and 30%, the maximum filling capacity without changing the properties of the original product.

It has the best thermal conductivity among PEEK products and antistatic effect can be expected under the influence of carbon fiber.

However, care should be taken because the performance as an insulator, which is the best advantage of plastic, may be lower than other PEEK products.

◎ PEEK-HPV (Bearing grade)

It is a product mixed with PEEK + Carbon + Graphite + PTFE lubricant and can show the maximum performance under high load and high speed like Bushing, Bearing, Ballcage which rotates at high speed. In particular, it is a grade that can be an alternative to equipment designers or development personnel with problems such as maintenance and corrosion due to excessive lubricant use.

It is used as bushing and scrapper in various agitators in consideration of low surface friction coefficient and overall PEEK characteristics.
