TORQUE LIMITER SPECIFICATIONS
Index Drive has a high degree of division and stable motor characteristics. It is a highly rigid structure without backlash. Torque Limiter is a device developed to protect such Index Drive. The torque limiter attaches to the output shaft of the Index Drive to protect the Index Drive from overload.

Structure and Operation
If Over Load occurs, slide the flange towards (7). As the spring is compressed and the inner ball is dislodged, the overload is cut off and the power can be cut off by an electrical detector (installation of a close switch, etc.) while moving towards the flange (7).

Torque required for return is less than 10% of setup Torque.
The torque limiter is normally adjusted to the output load conditions on the output shaft of the index unit. It is used as a power lock. Torque adjustment is adjusted according to the output load conditions. The amount of shaking of the torque limiter shall not exceed the tolerance below.
