Sufficient adsorbent capacity

It is filled with sufficient amount of adsorbent to maintain constant dew point temperature by keeping contact time between compressed air and adsorbent for at least 4.8 seconds.

DIFFUSER

DIFFUSER is installed at the inlet and outlet of the tower to distribute the flow of compressed air to make uniform contact with the adsorbent, to prevent CHANNELING and to amplify the effect.

TOWER design

In theory, the repeated process of drying and regeneration of adsorption-type air dryer is theoretically explained. During drying, moisture of compressed air is adsorbed to the adsorbent and heat of adsorption is generated. When the length of the TOWER is short, thermal energy is released to the outside of the TOWER. In contrast, when the adsorbent is regenerated in the tower, heat energy is required to dehumidify the moisture absorbed by the adsorbent. If the heat of adsorption in the drying process is not stored enough in TOWER, the heat energy required in the regeneration process is insufficient and as a result, more PURGE air is consumed to complete the regeneration process.

VALVE SYSTEM

The reliability of various control valves, which determine the operation cycle, is very important. DSH adsorption dryers have specially designed SHUTTLE VALVE and CHECK VALVE to completely solve the problems caused by moisture and solid impurities.
